放牧群落 - 3

在幽静的山间

竖立着这棵蓖麻树，

远看并不起眼的一棵树，

谁想到在它上面，

却又生活着另一个前所未见的庞大的游牧民族呢？

“羊群”仍然是老样子 — 能分泌“蜜露”蚜虫，

但是今天的“牧人”与前拍摄的两集有很大区别：

群落1拍的是一种集团作业的黑色大蚂蚁；

群落2拍的是一种单独作业、体型庞大、特大屁股的“蜜罐”蚂蚁；

这次群落3拍摄的是种集团作业而且体形很小的红色蚂蚁。

本集故事开始

看图：

它们的方式还是这样：

用嘴和触须轻轻“抚摩”蚜虫的小PP

然后衔住蜜露，往树根部运送。

可以看出它们的身体比蚜虫大不了很多，

但是数量很大，这个群落大概有200只左右。

蚜虫们数量也很巨大，而且经常发生这样的情景：

并不需要蚂蚁的“抚摩”，同时有数只蚜虫主动分泌蜜露，

搞得蚂蚁们很恼火，一张嘴又衔不住2滴蜜露，

很多蜜露因为蚂蚁忙中出错，跌落在树茎上，

而蚂蚁也无暇顾及了，

这叫作——丰收的苦恼，呵呵

采集蜜露是个细致的体力活

在这种高强度劳动下，

蚂蚁有时候溜达到旁边的叶子上休息休息，

样子比较滑稽，

嘴巴上还吊着一大滴蜜露舍不得放下：

在这种情况下，

蚂蚁们还是有解决的办法。

因为，蚁群中有为数不多的一种“装载工具”

———— 大屁股运输蚁

与放牧群落第二集不同的是，

这种“大屁股”屁股大得有限，品种明显不一样，

但是原理是一样的：屁股是个大大的半透明的“蜜罐”

用于短时间收集“超量生产”的蜜露，解解燃眉之急 :)

除了收集同伴嘴里的蜜露，

大屁股们还负责收集散落的蜜露。

前面提到，因为手忙脚乱，树茎上散落了一些珍贵的粮食，

就像人类的农民收割季节在田间“拾稻穗”一样，

它们也深知“汗滴禾下土”的辛苦，坚决不会浪费

蚁群和“蚜群”的共生关系前提是：

蚂蚁得照顾弱小的蚜虫的安全，才能够取得报酬

而且，蚁群自身的安全也很重要

所谓“安全生产”“向安全管理要效益”云云，呵呵

于是，产生了负责警戒的“保安蚁”

它们的身后，是忙碌的生产线

它们是不容欺负的团体，

保安的神态是比较“COOL”的

当然，这个是职业姿态  :)

蚂蚁们年复一年忙碌着它们的“生活大计”

很有趣、而且神奇的一种动物，不是么？
