Strengths:
* Sharp pictures from 24mm all the way to 200mm! When you stop down to f8 this lens is very close to "L" zooms I've used ?simply unbelievable for this kind of a zoom?!
* Great contrast and saturation with print and slides
* Distortions is very well controlled under 1% at both ends
* No vignetting or flaring when stopped down to f5.6 or f8
* Quality is as good as Canon抯 "L" products ?simply excellent
* Very fast AF
* Great price
* 3 years warranty and a dedicated hood is included
* Works great with my Elan 7E
优点:
* 从24mm到200mm所有焦段都很锐利. 光圈收到f/8时跟俺用过L变焦头很接近. 真不敢相信是这样一只变焦头

Weaknesses:
* This is one big heavy duty lens at 690g
* Large filters size 72mm
* Closer min. focusing would be nice but at 80cm still not bad

Review Summary:
This super zoom is simply amazing in terms of its optics, functionality and quality. If you are looking for a true do-it-all lens it earns in my opinion top spot. I highly recommend it.
