I would prefer F100 over EOS 1N. Once you make decision, you'll have to stick with the brand. In my opinion, Canon is loosing its technology advantages over Nikon in recent years. Many years ago, most people wanted to buy Canon because of its supersonic motor driven lens, but nowadays, Nikon has those kinda lens too. Nikon enjoys some advantages on metering and flash technology. I would suggest you to buy F100. F100 is newer model with newer technologies, and constructed with metal, and feels like a pro camera.
